TifEagle Has Been Selected!

Holiday would like to announce that they will be redesigning their greens using TifEagle grass.  TifEagle is a third generation Bermuda, developed by Dr. Wayne Hanna at the Coastal Plains Experiment Station in Tifton, Georgia. It can be mowed lower than Tifdwarf or Tifgreen for improved putting speeds and consistency. It produces less thatch than other ultradwarfs. It has proven itself to be a superior Bermuda putting surface.  It was just recently published in Florida Golf Magazine that the prestigious Trump International Golf Course located in West Palm Beach just recently replaced all 18 of their tournament ready Mini-Verde Greens with TifEagle.  The article stated that they wanted to achieve all over perfection.  Check out the article HERE!

Welcome to our BLOG!  We want to keep you up to date on our exciting Green Renovation starting March 17th 2014.  So far our GM and Superintendent have traveled to Pine Creek Turf located in Adele, GA.  Pine Creek has over 1800 acres in turf production and supplies turf to the BEST golf courses across the world.  Holiday will be working closely with a company (Barbaron Inc.) that specializes in Green Renovation.  Please stay tuned for more news and pictures of our progress.
