Front 9 Complete

We have completed grassing our front 9 greens.  Next week we will begin grassing the back 9 (weather permitting).  We have also started the process of sodding our new tee boxes with Tiffgrand, a shade tolerant bermuda.  We encourage golfers to take advantage of our beautiful course conditions and great rates right now.  Join us for a fun round and get a sneak peek at the "Best Greens on the Beach."

Sodding and Sprigging

Today was an exciting day.  We are in the final stages of our rejuvenation.  We began today sodding and sprigging our 5th, 6th and 7th greens. We started this process off by placing TifEagle sod around the apron of the green. Next TifEagle sprigs were laid down by hand. The sprigs are brown in color and look dead, however, they are full of life. Once they are watered in they will start to get their green color back. After the sprigs were laid they cut them in with a small tractor.  The final step will be watering and watching them grow!  The front 9 should be completed by Thursday and all 18 by next week (weather permitting).

The End is Near!

Tomorrow we will begin sodding and sprigging our 5th, 6th and 7th greens.  This is the final step of our rejuvenation before we present you with the "Best Greens on the Beach."  The picture below is our 5th green, it has been prepped to be sodded and sprigged.  We will show you this greens after photo this week.

Front 9 Open for Play!

Our front 9 is open for play with beautiful temporary greens and a few well-crafted temporary tee-boxes.  All greens with an exception to 5 and 7 are complete and ready for sprigs.  We are very pleased with our progress and have already started work on the 15th and 16th green.  Next week (weather permitting) we expect to grass our greens.

Course Update!

Holiday's course rejuvenation is going great and right on schedule.  Early next week (weather permitting) the front 9 will be opened with temporary greens and temporary tee boxes on 3, 4, 6 and 7. Our temporary greens will feature a 6 inch hole which will add a lot of fun to your game.  All 18-Holes should be opened by the end of April with temporary greens (weather permitting).  Holiday will remain open during all phases of our rejuvenation with great prices and great enjoyment!  Please remember that the course is still in great shape so come on out for a round and see what all the buzz is about!
