Holiday's President on the Renovation Progress

Holiday's President, Allan Bense visited the course yesterday morning to view the renovation progress.  Bense stated the following:

"They are coming along well. Should finish shaping the front nine greens middle of next week. Also lengthening the tees. Will begin shaping the back nine the back nine latter part of next week. Will then sprig the middle of April and watch the grass grow! Will continue play at all times on temporary greens, and the new greens should be open for play by the end of June. We are also purchasing new golf carts, making other course improvements, and some remodeling of the pro shop and snack bar. We will spend $1 million improving Holiday!"

Front 9 Progress

Our progress on the front nine is right on schedule.  Below are current pictures of our course rejuvenation:

Pictured above is the final grade for #4 green.  The contours shown is how the finished surface will play.

Here we have the final grade with drainage on this green. Four inches of pea gravel will be spread and then 12 inches of root zone mixture will be added on top.

Day 2

Our journey to providing you with "The Best Greens on the Beach" has begun.  The renovations have  started out great.  Currently we are working on our front 9 greens and tee boxes.  The back 9-holes are open for play.  Pictured below are greens 2, 3, 4, 5 and the 4th tee box.  Stay posted for more updates.

New Golf Carts at Holiday!

A new fleet of golf carts arrived yesterday morning at Holiday! We hope you enjoy riding in our 2014 E-Z-GO Carts!!
